do they come on season . just asking i have two boys at mo and freddie is very clean never smells but basil he is a big boy and in the nut department where freddie can hardly see his . but basil after a while really stinks and you clothes reak after. do girls have a smell

Girl have seasons (about every two weeks), but they do not smell of testosterone (which accounts for the stink in case you wondered) unless an excited boy has been liberally spraying them with his pheromone laden pee!

On the other hand - girls can get pretty grouchy during that time... PMS is not just for humans!

Boys do have a much stronger smell than girls, especially if they get "excited" haha.
Not sure i understood your question properly though. do you mean you have girls nearby, that your boys can smell? or is it just a general question as in, do they smell in comparison with boys?

I can vouch for that! Gloria has kept us awake the last 3 nights with her rumble strutting and chasing Moe's bum around the pen. She has Uber PMT!

no i have only got two boys and basil really stinks but it is only when you pick him up and he is on you and some times when him and basil are chasing each other and trying to hump lol. i was just being nosy really because iwas thinking of getting girl piggies before i got boys but like there markings the bes:<>t

oh right, haha sorry didn't get you :)
i find that boys are generally stinkier than girls. would probably find that if you did get girls, and your boys were close enough to smell them, that they'd get a lot smellier whenever the girls did come on heat.
my boy is over a year now and has slight impaction problems. that can also make boys a bit smelly, sadly :( but as long as you keep them clean and happy it shouldn't be too much of a problem :)

Girls do come into seasons. The dominant one will often shove the other two around and give them nips. It does not last long but when they are in season, it is best to give the more cuddles to calm them down. Normally seasons come and go with none to very little real aggression.

Girls tend to have a mild smell especially in season but much less of a smell than boys.
