My piggie, Kitten, will every now and again cough like she has a hairball or even sneeze. maybe a couple times a day. She's been on antibiotics a couple of times before (not recently, probably about two months ago) but shes been doing it almost ever since we got her. It's gotten worse lately. (As have mine. LOTS of dust out lately) Could she have allergies? If so what would you reccommend I try? (She's not sick. She only coughs every now and again and very rarely sneezes. Her eyes are as bright as ever, no runny nose) HELP!

Yes, most definitely. Both of mine have suffered from hayfever this year to some extent. Luckily, the grass pollen season should be over in a few weeks...

Other things to suspect would be the bedding/litter etc.

Guinea Pig allergies

It doesn't seem to be from bedding or anything in the cage itself. I think it's close to allergies I get. (I'm allergic to the dust from corn husk and a few other things.) Is there anything I can do to help her with these darn allergies. A supplement, or something else I can do?

Thanks

I wondered this as my pig, Nelson gets quite sniffley when my hayfever gets worse! He sneezes at bit and I have to keep an eye on his breathing which can get wheezy.

Oh, yes, they most definitely can have allergies. One of our piggies was regularly coughing and sneezing until we changed the bedding type.
