My mother in laws Guinea pig had babies the father had to go to the vet as he was acting strange he always kept his head tilted to the side, the vet didnt have a clue and gave him some medicine and she said it might be in his genes. I had 2 guinea pigs from the litter so I'm wondering if they'll be fine? x

Head tilt can indicate an ear infection, ear mites or a stroke.

I would exclude all possibitlies first before talking about genetics!

Some health problems can be genetic, but the significant majority have a specific cause. As Wiebke said, head tilt can be put down to quite a few different causes; it is unlikely your guineas will be affected by their father's condition.

The vet checked his ears but they were fine so I'm asuming he has a condition, when my mother in law bought the 2 pigs she thought they were both males turned out the one was a female! so they had babies and my mother in law wanted to get the male done to put them back together but he wasn't well enough for the op so the female had to have it.
