as some of you know i have baby, who has had a tilted head for a few months now, the vets don't know whats wrong with him and basically have said there is nothing they can do.

he has always had problems and this was his second tilt and it all started when he had mites. i was told that the treatment for mites he had, would have also killed ear mites.

he's come of metcam and seems more with it now, he was on metcam for 5 weeks. since being of it he has been shaking his head and scratching his ear and biting his foot. i get the impression that the metcam was making him dosile.

i have purchased some thornit online, was reccomended by gp rescue centre. on Thursday night i put some of this stuff in his bad ear and yesterday noticed he was not eating much and by lastnight he seemed brighter again. while on my lap i noticed movement in his fir and the best way i can describe it was like fleas that i've seen in cats.

it was very visable and around his neck area.

He could have running lice. They live in the coat and feed on grease and skin debris. Give him a bath with a shampoo for head lice, it usually does the trick.
