Hi

I'm still shopping ready for when the girls arrive on Tuesday ;D

My rabbits are litter trained and I put most of their hay in their trays so that they can sit and nibble whilst doing everything else ;D Would the piggies appreciate the same sort of set up, or they are generally more difficult to toilet train?

If they would like litter trays, can you buy low sided ones for GPs?

Thanks :)

I have met very few who have managed to toilet train their piggies. Piggies are not like rabbits they tend to pee and poo where ever they please so I wouldnt bother :) :) :)

Thanks :) The rabbits spend hours just sitting and chomping away, but it sounds like the pigs might prefer charging through it instead! ;D I guess I'll just pile their hay up in the igloo and chubes etc then ;)

I have a litter tray full of hay in with my piggies and change it twice a day. They eat in there and also do quite a few poopies ! Saves a little time cleaning them out ;D I also stuff hay in pigloos and racks.

My two (now four actually!) wee and poo everywhere, then i'm sure they sit in it for a while before rolling in it.
Because they have long hair, i comb them everyday and i often find a stray poo and damp patch in their loveloy locks x

mine have weed and pooed in a litter tray, but will still go in other places too
