Daisy has a small lump on her back, it looks like a wart but it is quite pink and about the size of a pinhead, anyone any idea what it is?

It should be looked at by a vet, could be a number of things, fungas, infection, or a harmless mass. Don't want to scare you but I would take her along just for a check up.

Hope she is ok.

She's happy enough, I just found one of my Peter Gurney books and it looks like the picture of a cyst.

Yup i'd get her checked out, sounds like cysts :(
Love pm Lucinda she's had piggies with cysts i'm sure she'd be happy to help you out with advice O0 :smitten:
Paws crossed for Daisy :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Its not worth thr isk with lumps - dont think its okay until a vert tells you so :)

I agree with PP, you can't replace a vets knowledge with books. Not meaning to sound harsh, I've lost a pig recently I done all I could for him but there is always that doubt of what else could I have done. I don't think it's worth the risk to say she is ok when deep down only a vet can tell you.

Awww lu ((((hugs)))) you are a sweetheart, there really was nothing you could have done.xx

Peggy had what looked like a big crusty wart on her nose when I rescued her, but it fell off a few days later! I think it was more likely to have been a fighting wound from the other piggies she'd been living with!
