Do your piggies have a routine?

My aflie dose he is allways wide awake in the moring he eats some breakfast then he gose to sleep till about 1pm then he wakes up eats the rest of his breakfast and sits in his house or at the fount of the cage (he sleeps in the bredroom) then he eats tea then i put him to bed (i dont know what he dose in the night)

My max dosnet have a routine as such he is jsut very ogorzied he has his coner for his food a conger for his wee's and coner for his poops a coner for his little house and his coners for sitting - but the funny thing is in the summer he dose the same in his run

Ruby she eats brefakast she will sit there for like 2 hours and eat as much as she can the nshe will sleep then she will wake up have a snack then got back to sleep then wake up for tea ( dont know what she dose on a night)

Lilly - she just dose what ever but every few days she will kick ruby and poppy out of the bedroom and sit in it on her own and wont let them in

poppy - she just dose what ever lilly doing

The 4 boys - there all do tend to sleep at the sametimes but there never sleep for long like an hour at the most

the 3 girls there tend to sleep and eat at the time

As I'm out between 8 and 4 I don't really know what they do during the day except at weekends. At weekends they're hardly in their cage! First thing in the morning I generally get wheeked at until they've had their morning veg (they've stopped wheeking at my OH who gets up before me because they know food doesn't come until I get there). When I get home they're chomping on hay or lounging around until about 8 when the wheeking begins again. Then they flake out or are taken out for cuddles.

heres my day... get up about 8 feed piggys and kids do school run... then i get home and set up the indoor run, the boys go in first and they generally run about untill i hear wheeking, they want grass so i go out and cut them grass and clean out cages, then i do the same with the girls.... by about 150 i put them back and go and get anna from school, then the girls either come out again or if it nice the boys go outside.
At about 6 they get their tea and after i fed the kids i sit and watch telly with a pig on my lap with slices of cucomber, they take turns till i go bed!
Then i start over again next day! :smitten:

well you see i work from home I'm a childminder with my mum

i bring mine inside aswell one at time there have to take turns the kids love them there allways aking which one is that called

Our little fella Huxley takes himself off to bed at 10pm on the dot! Its so funny! The others are usually lolling about but always with an ear cocked for the rustle of a food bag!

Yes i think they do have a routin when i come down stairs in the morning and go to see them they are all in the house aslleep not one piggie to be seen then i loose the dog out and they start to one by one come out and have a good stretch then they all eat whats in the bowl from the day befor and have a walk about and a good scratch after a couple of hours they are dotted about the cage asleep then mid afternoon thats when they strart squeeking when i walk past for food and are still active when i go to bed x

Mine inside wheek everytime they hear someone walk towards their room/my study :smitten: they think I'm their personal chef ;D ;D ;D

The shed ones wheek everytime I open the door/walk into the shed/walk out/rustle a bag/open a hutch door/talk etc ;D
