I've noticed a little bit of waxy brown residue in my piggies ears, never noticed it before.

They are showing no signs of ear mites, or any other mites. I regularly treat them with 'spot on' every month. None of them scratch their ears or shake their heads.. which I know are common symptoms of ear mites.

I cleaned Leo's ears the other night, should I make this a regular process with all of them?

Oh yes!
Dindy has to have her ears cleaned once a fortnight. Her left ear has a lot more wax than the other. She doesn't have mites, just wax. I clean it out very gently with a cotton bud. I don't go right inside the ear for fear of damaging her eardrum, especially if she shakes her head. I just clean inside the rim and around the folds and never lose sight of the tip of the bud. I use a seperate bud for each ear to cut down on cross contamination. I can use up to six cotton buds on her left ear as the black wax (she has black ears) is quite soft and easy to remove.
I'm blessed with dindy being a very good patient. She is so trusting.
I hope this is of some help.
