This is going to sound like a very odd question but i've been wondering for a while now.

My hutches are literally 9-10 steps away from the window of our computer room (I live in a bungalow), I have it open most days and music playing when I'm on the computer. I also keep the music going so I can hear it outside when I'm with the piggies.

They used to get scared when a lorry or a noisy motorbike went past on the road, but have now got used to all the different noises.

Interesting question.....I dont know but I do know people (myself included) use music to calm dogs and it works for them....and also sounds cds (of various sounds from hairdryers to fireworks etc to get them used to sounds)..... so maybe the same for piggie s?

xx

Maybe, something to think about though right :))

I think so

I'm always playing music in my room and my piggies seem to quite like it but if I go and sit beside there cage and sing "You are my sunshine" they all seem to fall asleep :))

My boys cage is close to the telly so they are listening to noise all the time. When I go out I always put my ipod on so there is always music playing in the background, not so much for the piggies but for my budgie :)

I used to sing 2 my piggies (embarassing or what?:red) and that helped to calm them down also shushing and talking to them quietly. when ours cum in for cold winter nights their hutch iis right next to the t.v and they're not that bothered by it:)
