Sweep lost Izzy and then Lulu in the space of 6 weeks earlier this year. He was devastated by the loss of Lulu and started keening when we tried to remove her body.

Ambam and Aut's lost first Dusty in November and then Daisy on Christmas Day before accepting Holly Pigflighty (formally Cassandra on this forum) a couple of months later.

We had tried Sweep with Aut's years before and she screamed blue murder. Holly had been tried with him before she moved in with the girls and if Lulu had accepted her, she would have moved in with him. Ambam is totally laid back and doesn't mind who she lives with providing they leave her bottom alone.

So my question is really - how could Aut's change her mind so completely? Was it because she felt sorry for him? Are they now getting along so well because they have been through the same experience?

Don't know why Aut's changed her mind so quickly but thank goodness she has! So now she & Sweep have company. Piggies do grieve so maybe she knew Sweep was grieving & needed comfort.
