I noticed some pink patches on my guinea pigs' bedding this morning - which I assume is "spotting"

Do sows pass any blood when they are on heat?
 
I can't answer the question, I've only kept boars as an adult - but I did want to ask you if you've fed your guinea pigs any beetroot recently? That can leave worrying looking stains.
 
No, they don't usually do. There can be a one-off small amount of mysterious spot bleeding, but please see the vet if there is more.

good point about beetroot - I don't think it is beetroot in this case. They haven't had beetroot fo a while as they're all a bit overwieght.

I will keep an eye on all 3 and take to vet if it continues.
