Out of your herd, do you have a favourite?

I'm ashamed to say that I love Georgie just a little tinsy bit more than the other 2. They all get lots of attention, but because George has been my only fur-child for 4 years until the two babies came, he has a special place in my heart. We have a bond. The other 2 rely on each other and couldn't care less about the silly old human (me), but George follows me around like a puppy. Wherever I walk, he runs behind me. He sleeps on my rug, has a whole lot of trust in me, lets me tickle and kiss his crested head and is my number 1, my golden boy, my best friend. I do love the others loaaaaads, and I can't justify Georgie being my favourite, but he just is the best piggy in the land :) My old boy Georgie drool

i must start by saying... i love all my piggies lots and lots...
buuuut.... i have a soft spot for oliver because hes so laid back...!
he'll happily sit on my lap and have cuddles for hours... where as the rest of the herd will get a bit fidgety after a little while... oh and hes the only one who hasnt wee'd on me... :))
x

I've always had a fav - my Mr Humphrey! He is such a darling and so gentle and loving - all the others want me for is food lol but Mr Humph will Wheek more for a cuddle than he ever would for his veggies!

It works out equal in the household as my hubby has his two favs (and he is definately their fav they go mad when he checks on them!)

And my children have their favs too!

Can honestly say i don't have a piggie that i could ever live without though i love all my snuggly wuggly's to bits!

Aww, i'm so glad i'm not the only one. All three have their different personalities that make me love them and go weak and gooey when I see their little faces behind their manes of fur and whiskers...i'm trying to justify myself again, but no one or anything can ever replace my lovely mr george. george barely ever gets into trouble also, but the babies are forever going into places and behind drawers when I think i've blocked everything off. George is the first-born, golden child :))

I love them all but I have two fav's and that's Millie my peruvian sow she is so sweet and laid back, Biscuit my boar as he coes up to the bars to greet me:))

My special piggie was Mimsi, who sadly passed away yesterday. He has always had an extra special place in my heart, perhaps because of his health problems which meant more of my time and attention spent on him than the others. Having said that, I love each piggie for their own little personalities they have, but Mimsi was always my favourite and I am missing him dreadfully......Mimsi was my first pink eyed piggie and started my love of pink.red eyes.

Oh Farquhar, i'm so sorry for your loss of precious Mimsi. Rest in peace little boy and hope you popcorn to your hearts content in piggy heaven x

my favourite by a mile was comanche (in my avatar) who passed away recently.
I love all the others but com (and stevie) were my first pair, and comanche was the first face at the bars... when i fed him, he would push against me until i stroked his head x) the others come to the door but comanche would race over and bang against the door for me to give him attention, then lick me :))
the most friendly piggie in the world..i miss him every day.

Putt, the other girls are younger and have each other but Putt is very special as was her sister Pitch who passed away in January.

I love cookie and treacle but they are too new to feel the same about them as i do about Putt.

Ooooo this is tough. I do love all my piggies a lot, but I'm thinking Terry and Frazzle are my squishys drool they love cuddles and just settle on my lap.

My favourite is george because he was my first and he puts up with the most cuddles and messing where as my other three are very independant and it seems like when they are having cuddles they would rather be off playing :))

Tiger is my second as he is a very small pig and I was always worried when he was growing up that he was too skinny but that just turned out to be the way he is. he makes me laugh cos when i get him out he always rumbles at me after about two mins to tell me he has had enough he's such a charector!

I do love all my piggies and each and everyone I have a soft spot for:

Artie: His pink nose, and the fact that he's a brave little fighter.
Harvey: His inquistiveness.
Percy-Roo: His cuddleyness, his gorgeous lips, his wheek.

But I would have to say I have a really bad soft spot for Harvey, and everyone in my family knows (though i do try to deny it!). I dont know why but hes just such an oddball, and really relaxed around me :)

i love any piggies...but scooter is my favourite out of my 3 mostly *** he's naughty and cheeky and i never could resist a bad boy haha :))

This is going to be a long 'un, I'm in a gushing mood today! :]

I have 9, and yes, I have favourites! Tigger and Munchie will always be my favourites. They're the ones I've had the longest, and it is thanks to them that I have been able to give a home to so many more. However, the other 7 piggies are still immensely special to me:

Teaser: Yes, she may have been a little madam and yes she may have caused Munchies' abscesses. But; she has all the spirit of a lovely little man I once had the pleasure of sharing 6 years of my life with. Smudge was the first pig I have many memories of, and she looks just like him. Feisty, full of attitude but at the same time loving and sweet. She not only reminds me of him, but in herself she's just wriggled her way into her own place in my heart. :)

Muffin and Butterscotch: for once again giving me the experience of having young guinea pigs around the place and for being generally fantastic little pigs to have. Crazy, expressive, and super cute.

Willow and Izzy: For showing me that I should not judge a book by it's cover and that everything has the capacity to surprise you. I chose Willow and Izzy from Milhaven's adoptions page, I only knew what I saw on the photos. I can tell you seeing them for the first time was something else. Willow is huge, hairy and an absolute darling. Izzy, even cuter than she looked in her photo. With her huge expressive eyes and timid nature, she's beautiful.

Bean: The oldest pig in my herd at 3 years old. She's also the smallest. But from the timid little pig I saw in the run when I went to get her from a forum member here who couldn't keep her, to the pig I have now is fantastic. She's the last to run away from me, the first to come and investigate what yummies mum's brought for them today and she's just full of 'beans'! She can run with the rest of them, I can tell you that much!

Chip: My newest pig. He is one hunky lad and at the current time, the only boy I have. I love him for bringing companionship to Teaser, and to me. There's something about boys that make them more cuddly! He'll resist being picked up, but once I've got him he likes to snuggle down on my chest and kiss and talk to me. Chip, you're something else! :D

I only have 2 piggies and can honestly say I don't have a favourite. Somedays 1 seems more cuddly or responsive than the other and so for that moment they are my favourite but I love them both equally.

Well I can pick favorites out from my own pigs that I've had over the years, I suppose it's ones that pop straight into your mind.

First it was Peanut, born to my first ever pig that I got as a child from a petshop and she was pregnant. He was a peru coated lemon agouti, cream and white. Started my love of peruvians and pigs with blazes down their face. I adored that little man.

Then when he passed it was Hyleco. He was a lilac, cream and white peru that came into the rescue, passed away a couple of years ago.

Sows wise, I had a texel sow called Hufflepuff. She was the only surviving pig from a big rescue of rabbits and pigs. Such a quiet girl.

Then of course lovely Lily. From my biggest rescue of pigs to date. Poor girl had acid poured over her when she nipped the persons child, and had been left untreated with her eye in a terrible state. She had to have her eye removed and lived out her days here. Always got the attention and people talking.

Have to mention my Nickel, total star and so laid back she was almost horizontal. Helped many a single pig get used to company.

Now I have my 3 girls and a boy who was added to my own pigs list yesterday. As you can see, I love my peruvians but Pippin is a darling, and went through so much. I love them all. Mind you, new boy Crumble is a doll, I can see him creeping up the list.

Penny pig, she is my favourite, but Nancy pig with her crazy hair is my husbands favourite (although he doesnt have a favourite and doesnt really fuss them :x unless no one is looking lol!) but i love them both, i just prefer the smooth hair i think, can sit and stroke Penny for hours, Nancy is all backwards and tufty :))

I had a special bond with Sweep, probably because She was so poorly when I first got her, so we spent a lot of time together. Her death was really tough, because she was my baby.

I don't have a favourite in my herd now; they all have things to recommend them! I wish there were more hours in the day for cuddles!

I have 4 at the moment, and I have a soft spot for my Alvin :). I love them all sooooo much and think of them as my little babies, but yah.. :))
