As the title says really. I have wanted some sows for a looong time however having had so many boars all at once, I was never in a position. I now only have my gorgeous little men, Kevin and Herbert and wondered if keeping a pair of Sows across the way from them would upset them or not? I don't want to stress them out, it wouldn't be worth them losing their bond.

I've read that it can cause fall outs, I honestly wouldn't risk it especially if your boars get on so well. I'd either get sows and put them in another room, if that isn't possible then I'd wait until they pass away to get sows to be on the safe side.

I think there are quite a few mixed sex piggy rooms.I only have girls but sure someone will be along soon

A number of people have both males and females in the same room with no problems, but i myself have only had girls and neutered male, so not done this myself. But a number of people on her have both males and females in the same room.

I currently have 3 females and 3 males (all intact) living happily in my bedroom. :)

I have a pair of males and a pair of females on opposite sides of my living room (probably about 5ft apart). They are aware that the other set is there when it comes to feeding time in particular, but no drama! One of my girls got a little rumbly when we brought a new friend for Junior home, and the boys can sometimes chase each other a little more when my noisy girl is in season, but no fallouts. Just always make sure to handle boys before girls ☺
