Doing up some hay mixes for the piggies but i’m not sure I have enough hay for two pigs. What do you think?

This is just the mixed hay and a couple of tubs of compressed hay I bought today. They have 13 bags all up not including the two tubs of mixed hay. Thank god for tiles (and that I don’t have asthma) so the clean up didn’t take to long and was all cleaned up before the OH came home and realised I’d bought hay lol.

I'm not sure what you mean. Is this for one day? If so, it looks like way more than they'll eat, but you can never have too much hay. They'll be popcorning like crazy, and burying themselves in it.

No not for one day, I can just imagine the poo in their cage to clean up if they were to eat all of that in one day lol. I make two tubs of hay mix that last them about 2-3 weeks, one for on the morning and one for at night just mixed up with a bit of all the hays and sometimes they get one or two specific types of hay instead. Some are for their bowl and others go in their bag and some are just for treats. It took me over six months to get them to eat more than 20% of the amount of hay they were supposed to eat in a day so now they get a variety so they don't get bored and they finally eat the 80% they are meant to and I don't tear my hair out lol. 13 bags should last them several months I should think.

I should add though that my dining room (It's not used for dining) doesn't look like this all the time just when the piggies need more hay mixes lol.

Lol. I'm so glad. I was being careful not to offend in my last post. What I really wanted to say was. "That's way too much, you'll end up throwing most of it out." Lol
