Well after my shopping trip....
I'm a bit concerned about the baby and Bugsy,
Bugsy seems to be chasing baby around like get out of my house and get off my dish sort of thing,
I haven't seen any real aggression just a bit concerned as I'm about to lock them up for the night.
I've put another house in and another bowl with veg and dried food.
Do you think baby will be OK?

No they aren't mum and daughter, Mums been on her own since I realised her cage mate was a boy!
Baby was a friend to keep her company,

If you are concerned, sepperate them and put them together when you are around.

They have been together since 2 o'clock so it was 8 hrs together by the time I left them , I don't think I can watch them for any longer than that in one go really.

Lol, i agree, watching something for eight hours is bad for your eyes lol.

If there have been no real problems (Fighting, trying to kill each other) then everything should be fine. Good luck.

I assume they are both female? They should be fine together, the older one is just showing baby who is boss. I would leave them together and watch at meal times that baby is getting enough, you could always hand feed baby a little extra to be sure.
They should settle down soon enough. Separating them for long periods and re introducing at this stage will make things worse. I wouldnt worry, females usually get along together ok O0

Yes triple checked both def female,
Been there done that had baby piggies...
I can't hear any noise so def not fighting. I have the window open that opens towards the shed and the shed door is open with a fly screen over.
I've just never done this before, (well I have but one ended up to be male the other female so they were obviously going to get along)
I just feel so sorry for baby :smitten:

It makes you quite anxious to watch, doesn't it. . . however I think they are just sorting out the pecking order, as has been said already. We have 5 now and each time another has been introduced we go through this little phase

How are they today?
