Do you think this is good food??

This is the pig food i use what do u think of it and do you think it is good for a baby pig?

It has bananas and dry carrot in if you can see lol

It looks rubbish to be honest. In that I can see peas and flaked maize and that seems to make up the bulk of the feed. Guinea pigs need a high fibre diet so the bulk of a dry feed should be hay.

Chances are you would end up with a bunch of selective feeding piggies that would eat what they like of it rather than what little of it is good for them.

It is difficult to know what's best to feed, perhaps read some of the review of other brands, there's so many to choose from!

Pigs should get alot of Vit C from daily veg and fruit, Vit C in food decreases alot

Don't be taken in by eye catching bright packaging. It might have been produced by someone who doesn't know anything at all about piggies. I think i could see seeds and nuts. These can cause choking in piggies but are OK for hamsters.

I use tried and tested food by known manufacturers then theres no doubt its safe. After all, piggies are worth the best arnt they?
