newpiggies

We took our piggies for a checkup at CCT and were offered the chance to worm them. She usually worms them every three months. I met some ladies who had travelled all the way from Staffordshire to visit CCT!

No i have never wormed either of our boys, have asked before but Brendan (vet) said not to worry about it as they were healthy :)

We travelled from Kent to see Vedra at the CCT :) she said she gets people from all over!

She wormed and ivomec'd all our boys too.

The vet we saw last week said he didn't recommend Ivomecing and worming on a regular basis as he said it can damage the liver, but the CCT said they hadn't heard that one and do both on a regular basis.

I worm foster pigs when they come in but I don't worm my own pigs as they do not go outside.

All pigs here are Ivomeced regularly just in case!

I worm and ivomec mine periodically. Mine spend a lot of time outside on the grass so better to be safe than sorry hey O0

mine are ivomeced every 6 months but have never wormed them in over 30 years of keeping pigs

I don't worm mine and never have. I think you'd have to do it quite regularly and I don't like the idea of pumping all that medication into them.
