I have 5 piggies and i always give Jem and Spike more floor time, i think because they are young and more active that this seems fair. The other boys get out every day too, but Jem and Spike get more. I started to wonder if this was fair?

I don't think there is an exact amount time you can give them. I have a playpen for my boys and they have been in there for almost an hour and i will probably keep them in there until i go to work at 5. You know your piggies better than anyone so you will know if they are fed up and wanting to go back to there home. Some piggies and lazy and don't need as much. My youngest piggie Stan is so active and hyper that i just let him knacker himself out in his playpen which is annoying for poor Winston sometimes!

i have 2 groups billy's group has longer cos they come out and play and run like lunatics.

nelly's group dont as only 2 of them come out and in 10 mins they are bored and back in the cage. it is unfair but its their choice.

i would let the younger ones out longer if it was me. but as said you know your piggies the best

No, you are doing right - younger piggies are often more active and need a place to really work the excees energy off. Older piggies will often just sit happily somewhere and move perhaps if there was something edible was involved... mallethead
