I prepared my piggies a feast today; beetroot, celeriac, cucumber, red and orange pepers, romain lettuce, melon, savoy, parsley and sprouts. When I went to load up their hay just now the only thing left were a few bits of sprouts, which I take to mean was the least favourite part of their Christmas dinner, which made me laugh! How do your piggies rate sprouts?

Mine had half a sprout each with Christmas breakfast and there was some initial enthusasm and running about stealing them from each other but ultimately the sprouts mostly ended up shredded on the floor not really eaten- so I suspect they liked the smell and the crunch but they were a bit too bitter after a few bites!

My hour like sprouts. They got half each along with carrot peelings and 2 small slices each and the usual other veg.

Never had one that went for a sprout... even the ones that liked other brassicas.
Louise keeps trying to eat this Fitch paper bedding (even though she can't bite through it) and I sit watching her for ages with a lump hanging from her mouth trying to chew a piece off. It never works, she ends up dropping it and wandering off. Bless her, I'm starting to think she might be a bit dim!

Mine loved the sprouts and broccoli leaves and left the parsnip peelings I gave them this morning. They like any brassica really, but will never touch a tomato or pepper ever!

Mine love a quater sprout every now and then in their vegetables... I dont give them a lot because I read it can make them gassy

Mine only occasionally get an outer leaf from one. But they do seem to enjoy it.

I give mine a quarter each occasionally - they do get eaten but not first.
I gave them peelings today which went down well

Mine eat the sprouts but it's not the first thing that gets eaten tho, altho parsnips always get left!

Mine had a sprout in with their Christmas dinner today. It disappeared not sure if they had some each or if one of them scoffed it all but it did go pretty quickly.

I used to offer them but they always got left in a polite little pile. I gave up but maybe I should have another go 🤔

One of my rabbits loves them. The other two rabbits will be trying them for the first time today, so we will see!
The piggies are hesitant at first but always like them

I’ve tried my piggies with sprouts a number of times, never found a piggie who likes them!

Well, the piggies weren’t hesitant this time, they tucked straight in!
Saffron and Luna bunnies were not impressed! I’m not surprised though, they don’t seem to like veg anyway. Hay, grass and coriander are the only things they will consistently eat!

My Rupert (left on my avatar) looooved the things! Until his bloaty probs! Jess (right) was never fussed. Luigi can’t stand them and as I had a fridge packed I didn’t even buy them this year!
Might pick some up to see what the newbies think though, I’m a bit of a fan myself! My lovely little Oto catfish were too!

Had no idea there were fish that ate them too!

Not sure about sprouts as they’ve never had them. Gave them a small piece of parsnip yesterday and all 6 turned their nose up at it 😁

Yes, mine do like a Brussels sprout, although any cabbagy type veggie , brassica? they do love. I hate the smell in their enclosure though, it's rank if they don't eat it all straight away🤢 Breakthrough moment, as of last night Pedro and Basil decided they finally like bell pepper. I'm so pleased as when we got them from the RSPCA they told us that was the one thing they didn't like. I've treated the boys like my children and kept trying them with peppers so I'm doing a happy dance now, ( I'm easily pleased):yahoo:
