I've just popped the boys back in their cleaned cage and they were having floor time while I was cleaning. While they are always happy to get back in their home the goings on this morning have been crazy.

They have just now plonked down for a nap after 20 minutes of non-stop running around the run, running up and down the ramp, jumping over the food bowls, knocking the teddies all over the place and a heap of popcorning. I've never seen so much movement from Hazelnut, who is generally a lazy piggy. Should have caught it on video but the battery is flat.

I've bought the makings of a C & C cage but think I might hold off for a while since they seem to love their current cage so much!

I've never noticed but I know they prefer the cc cage as they can run around and play now. The last one they didn't have much room to because they outgrew it.

I know the younger two definitely love the new one more, they chase around a lot in it. :)

Mine love their cage, if I put them down for floor time and forget to close one of the cages I go back in to find all five have jumped back into one cage, they seem to prefer it !:))

Our piggies love their cage! they sometimes stand up and peek into the cage when they are out for floor time like 'Is it time to go back yet?' :))

I recently changed my cage from a C&C to two ferplast 100s stuck together and they seem so much happier in their new set up. I'm able to get down on to their level whereas with the C&C I was having to tower over them to catch them or give them their food which just stressed them out. Now when I go to feed them they all gather round the door and let me stroke them while I'm preparing their food. :)
I think C&C cages are great but just not for me and my pigs.

Oh that's precious! Reminds of the old cage I had that was up high on wheels. Hazelnut used to sit staring up at it with longing the whole time I was cleaning it out. I was sure he was thinking "now how can I get back in there?"

Mine love their cage - i always sit and watch them for ages after I put them after a cage clean as they go nuts! :(|)

Mine too! I have the big ferplast (I don't know what it's called, the 8500 judging by the size of the thing!) and because it's down on the floor they can easily jump back into it using the shelf. Cleaning them out takes a good ten minutes longer with all the time spent picking them up and taking them out again! The thing is they know that when I drag over the bag of hay dinner isn't far behind and so they try to pre-empt me! You can probably hear me scolding them through the walls - the neighbours must think I'm mad!
