i usually put the soft hay in one 'hay area' and i noticed that in colder weather, they like to burrow and sleep in there. i was thinking of putting a large garden potting tray there instead and putting fitch and then the hay in there. just so it can be changed more easily and it saves me changing the fleece in that area 1/2x a day. but i still want them to beable to use it for sleep. do you think they still would? :)

My boys sleep in a tray of papelit even though they have a fleecy bunk bed above the tray!

I put a few layers of kitchen roll on to make it more comfy :hb:

it's the back of the cage and has a roof over that part so i think it's warmer in winter so want them to keep using it. there will still be the usual fleece beds in other places but i think it's nice to have a super cosy hay area

this is what I've done with mine and they both spend alot of time sleeping in it so I'm sure yours will approve too! I have put a blanket over that part of the cage as well :)

hi everyone. I have two naughty boys, toffee and fudge. Toffee loves to sleep in his poop tray despite the fact that I have fleece on all three balconies, two fleecy fluffy beds available at all times and a hay hidey corner.! Fudge is much more civilized and likes to sleep in the fluffy snuggle bed (mind you he poops in there too). There's no accouting for taste

My 3 sleep in the rabbits litter tray! Whilst the rabbits are out on the lawn, the piggies hoover up their left over greens and curl up for a nap in the litter tray. :))
