Mine won't let me near them, just cause I've had a few beers. I tried bribing them with food, they'll eat the food but as soon as my hand comes near they scarper lol.
I don't think I'm extra loud or grabby, I wonder if they don't like my beer breath
Clever little aren't they.
Does anyone else have similar experience of being drunk in charge of a guinea pig?

I think it's the smell of the beer. I don't like boyfriend near me after he's had a few so I imagine the smell is worse for a piggy nose.

That's when you know to stopping drinking when even your piggies don't wanna come near you :tu: Sour alcohol breath is up there with one of the worst smells ever lol.

I only drink now & again, half pint of cider and I'm away, with the fairies.
The only drink that upsets me & the piggies is rum. Yuk give me Remy Martini, or Southern comfort.

Mine have been happy to have drunken snuggles though I drink vodka so maybe it doesn't smell as bad :))

I only had 2 pints as I'm lightweight lol. They act the same when I've been drinking wine. Maybe they just pick up on slight changes in behaviour. Or maybe my behaviour is worse than I think lol

I daren't go near my piggies when I have had a few cos I'd forget to lock the hutch properly and they would escape!:yikes:

I had one of my piggies on me whilst laying on our bed, and my partners mum knocked on the door after she'd be drinking to say naa night, and Benji gave her the biggest Rummble ever they obviously don't like alcohol!
