I swear Hexi could be in the circus 😆 Ever since I got her as a tiny baby, she has been showing off her amazing agility. She's been able to climb up the side of the cage with all four paws (which I got her to stop doing luckily), is one of the fastest zooming piggies I've ever seen (I posted a video of that before already), and she is always standing on her hind legs. This is not something I trained her to do. I know many piggies just do it more than others naturally. I don't want to encourage it as I know it can be potentially dangerous, but I did indulge it a bit to get it on video as she can stand up for a surprisingly long amount of time. I also let her stand near the back of the sofa so she wouldn't fall backwards. I honestly think she is too agile for her own good sometimes 😜 I have started to try to teach her some harmless tricks recently, like spinning in a circle for a treat. She is definitely getting there and understanding it more everyday. I feel like you can tell when a piggy doesn't mind doing something and when you're forcing them to do something, and Hexi definitely doesn't seem to mind at all, she even popcorns after her spin sometimes 😆

My other piggy, her sister, is not like this at all. I've rarely seen her on two feet and she is generally much more chill. She also really enjoys resting in my lap with her feet completely stretched out, unlike Hexi who is always on the go. I think their different personalities are so adorable! It's so fun to get to know their individual likes and dislikes, etc. Hexenhammer is still very young so it should be interesting to see how she is as she gets older! Anyone else have a particularly agile piggy with a possible career in the circus? 😁

As a younger pig Timmy was a climber and spent a lot of time looking like a meerkat 😂 These days he’s a bit geriatric for those sorts of shenanigans but he did pull off a quick meerkat only the other day. It’s so fun to watch the zoomies and I do miss them. They happen rarely now and very much in slow motion compared to a few years ago. More a slow jog than a zoom 😂
(He’s never been a very clever pig so no hope with tricks. Jenny was the brains in the enterprise but she frankly was far too good for any of that nonsense in her opinion)

"More a slow jog than a zoom" That is too sweet, it's good to hear he still has the spirit in him! Hexi's sister is very similar to your Jenny, I think she could do it if she wanted to, but the one time I tried to see if she would also spin, she looked at me like, "just hand me the lettuce peasant" so I never tried that again 😂
