I had a visitor over the other day who met the boys for the first time - Comet being his excellent self and sitting on their chest sniffing really intently at the air and just generally being very friendly, and Blitzen sulking, as usual, in a carrot cottage on the sofa.
So after a bit, we're talking in the hall and both the boys are on the sofa (although I'm close enough to grab Comet if he gets any ideas about the floor again!) and I happened to mention the two of them have never really fought, just squabbled...right as they decided to squabble over something else. The visitor was like "Uh wait, are they fighting, should you check that out?" and I decided to humour her by taking a look.
Blitzen had apparently decided to steal some of Comet's precious hay and it had ended up in the water dish. Comet wasn't too impressed (wet hay?! WET HAY?!) and wanted his hay back, even when there's more than enough for 10 pigs on the sofa with them.
"Nope, that's actually perfectly normal. Trust me. They'll stop in a minute."
I don't think they quite believed me...does anyone else ever have those moments? When a visitor is paranoid about every scuffle, or every squeak or squeal or rumble, and you're just thinking "well at least I'm not trying to sleep this time."?
