Does Anyone Else On Here Spend Ages Reading Stuff ?

I seem to always be finding new stuff to learn on this site.. Its great !

Great to hear that! I learn more all the time on here. It is the big benefit of a forum over facebook, it is a repository of information that is searchable.

Hope you continue find it useful and enjoy being part of it :)

I also like the fact I can track my piggies gotcha days and see our Rainbow Bridge piggies memorials too. With one of our 'Bridge' piggies Megan - her story started on here 6 months before we adopted her, it was very wierd after she came such a huge part of our life to read about her when Walsall first rescued her. I do love the history of the forum if that makes sense....

yes @sport_billy it does make sense.. I love the fact i can ask a daft/obvious question and i will get a good answer. I love reading peoples stories. the rainbow bridge bit makes me sad especially as i love my new piggies so much i can't bear the thought of loosing them :( x

No such thing as a daft question, its how we all learn :)

The RB section is sad, I know... :( but I have always found it a comfort after losing the girl on the left of our avatar - she was the reason I joined the forum so I have a lot to be grateful for. With the forum, i would never have been able to give our girls the home they have or as good a life :)

Don't worry Gladys and Pippin I am sure have a lovely time ahead of them for many years, they have a wonderful piggy slave to look after them....

thanks sport billy.. I am definitely their slave and want to give them a happy life like so many others do on here x

I love it. Facebook is now a thing of the past. I've learnt so much. Credit to everyone who keeps it going in the background and all those knowledgable people who help us every day

I love this forum. I used to come here for tips when I had guineas before but was not a member, had to rehome my last two due to personal problems 5 years ago. I came back before Christmas to remind me how much work they are and to put me off having them. It didn't work, I was reminded what a joy they are! I find RB difficult though, usually end up with a tear or two, some days I can't look at all, especially when it's a piggy whose story I've been following.

I also love this site. My guineas life would not have been so good without it, I've learned so much.

I used to read up on things as a visitor about 5 years ago until one of my pigs developed a lump in 2011 which is when I joined (she was ok and had an operation but unfortunately passed away since then in summer 2012). About a year ago I started using this far more often and I've learned a lot!

And I like looking at all the many, many pigtures! :D

Most definitely yes! It's great to read around the forum and get different hints and tips about things to provide the best care I can for the piggies!

Yes absolutely, there is always more to learn and there are some very knowledgeable people here.

When I first started keeping guineas I did do lots and lots of reading researching as much as possible. I now have a lot of knowledge but there is always something new to learn, such interesting animals guineas are x

Yes I agree this forum has literally been a life saver for my piggie

Yes its a good way to relax in the evening, a bit like picking up a favourite magazine. It also gives me lots of inspiration, I'm just going to paint the woodwork in their room as I'm giving it a revamp in preparation for their c&c cage arriving. (In case anyone is worried, I might keep them out of the room tonight in case of paint fumes).
