I remember wondering the same thing and I'm sure when I eventually found a picture on the site it said each box was around 2kg but I can't find that now so not 100% sure. I remember working it out and not thinking it was very cheap lol
 
Lol where do you get your hay from @HansPiggies and what type do you use? I'm trying to find something different because two of the boys don't seem to like the one I use at the moment (Ings) they do eat it, but not like the rest do.
 
I'm still not sure what to get, I'm using the last of some Hay from my old Pet shop that's been discontinued. I'm picking some up tomorrow of some meadow hay 'comfy' make which is really green and soft and they really like it and it's only £2.75 for a big bag, although I don't know the weight but it lasts longer than the Timothy hay I used to buy which was 1.8kg so whilst they eat that I'm going to save some money. If they go off it my plan is to buy the 'Alfalfa King Timothy Hay' which they sell small bags of in Pets@Home for £8.95 for 1.8kg but you can get it online for cheaper...http://www.seapets.co.uk/products/s...imothy-hay/alfalfa-king-timothy-hay-450g.html :)
 
Lol yup that's why I'm hoping they stick with liking this cheap one I'm getting. I don't know how people afford to buy Oxbow hay and the like, I go through 2kg a week with my 4 piggies if they really like it! :p. If you want to get the hay to try it's from Pets Corner in Beeston, they order it in for me but it's no charge and tbh I'm going to pick up 2 tomorrow but there should be other bags as I honk they get it in, in a pack size of 4 or so!
 
I have 10 piggies to hay, so that would cost me a lot :nod:

dust free hay box of soft hay weighs 2.475kg :)
 
Still wondering how heavy the LARGE bales are from dust free hay. I did message them but I got no reply.
