Does anyone’s else Piggy do this?

The forum doesn’t have its own video hosting facility but it is possible to share videos by uploading them to YouTube first and then posting a link to it here
Thank you that’s great to know so will need to get you tube & do that x

You are not the first one with a piggy who is happy to live on his/her own. When my Rainbow Piggy Lenny went to the Rainbow Bridge, his best mate Gizmo wouldn't accept another friend. He happily live his live alone for another 11 months until he too went to be with his best mate at the Rainbow Bridge. You know your piggy the best and the comments you have been given are not from "The Guinea Pig Police" but from members who care about piggies and most piggies don't cope well on their own.

You joined a guinea pig forum who most regular members only want guinea pigs to be living their lives healthy with proper care. Most won't know your circumstances, hence people ask. Now if "guinea pigs police" is irritating, then think of what people here who keep on answering repetitive questions upon questions about guinea pigs, illnesses, housing, care etc. multiple times a day might feel. If you ask a question about illnesses and the one who replied said "It's irritating people keep asking the same question!", how would you feel? 🙄 Be mindful that most people here are ready to help and not policing you.
I agree but I also had a person on here tell me I was a bad piggie owner because I gave my piggies cucumber in winter. I had another tell me my hideys weren't good enough just because they weren't pigloos and that my willow bridges as hideys were bad. It can get really confusing at times - and frustrating when people tell you things about piggie care and when you explain YOUR circumstances they don't listen.

Willow bridges I prefer over pigloos, they pigs can chew them, hide under and run though them. Can't do that with a plastic pigloo, plus plastic can be dangerous if swallowed.

Cucumber, absolutely fine all year round, I use it everyday to keep my pigs bladders running through more.

A problem I am noticing on this forum more and more is, once one experienced person says their opinion, a herd follow. I'm not mentioning names or being horrible but it's true.

Absolutely. When I tried to tell them I live in Australia (which can get very warm) so I wanted something nice and open so the guineas wouldn't be trapped in heat, they told me it didn't matter and that willow bridges weren't real hideys.

I think they are better! I have one for each of my pairs of pigs. They have a chew on them now and again. And they can follow each other through them. And also I think the 'natural look' is nicer. Although my hutch is outdoors and I have shavings and hay for bedding. They have stone dishes, plastic water bottles but otherwise quite a 'natural' environment.

Who on earth said those things? I hope it wasn’t me, though I don’t remember saying anything like that. I have pigloos for the girls but the boys had a wooden bridge thing that they loved to sleep under. Everyone uses what’s convenient and suitable for their piggies.

It wasn't you, I can't remember who exactly it was but it wasn't you.

They are better, it's stops dead ends in cages and hutches aswell.

Il use pigloos for rats because I can wipe them clean
