Does fatty eye affect vision?

I don't think it does. Pixel had a fatty eye about 18 months ago but (strangely!) it disappeared within about 10 days. It didn't seem to bother her at all, even when I was touching round the area to check what it was.

He has had it for as long as I can remember. It's not extreme fatty eye but you can tell he has got a little. I don't think it affects how he sees since he can do everyday things like any other normal guinea pig
