(Warning graphic) Today i was playing with my guinea pig and this slimy stuff came on my shirt. I checked his but and he had the slimy stuff on it too. Please help. I took him to the veg 2 weeks ago and he had hqrd poo and he got an injection for his stomach. Please tell me if I need to go to the vet because I don't want to go and waste the vets time on something that is not serious. And should I seperate him from my other guinea pig. (Pictures up ahead)

It's hard to say what this is and it could be either from his bum or from the urinary tract. However, what I would say is no good vet would ever feel that you are wasting their time. They would rather spend time reassuring a worried owner than waiting until a guinea pig was seriously ill before being seen. I would say that as this is not normal for your piggy that you book a vets appointment for a check up

He is still eating and drinking and the vet isn't open right now. I will monitor him but if his condition gets worse even by a bit I will see the vet and if he isn't open, I will call the pet ambulance.

If he is eating and drinking fine and showing no other signs of illness then it is not an emergency and can wait until your vets normal opening hours. I would switch to weighing him daily at the same point in the feeding cycle (either before or after feeding) so you can monitor if there is any weight loss going on

I will wiegh him later today thank you for your patience

That's ok, I know it's hard but try not to panic. If he is eating and drinking as normal and not losing weight then, if there is something wrong, it is early days
