My piggy jax now and again makes a little sneezing sound and then my other piggy revel started doing it, just need to know if I need to get them looked at just in case :soz:

Best to do so - sneezing can herald a URI infection that will need treatment with antibiotics.

The sooner you take action the better.

Occasional sneezing is normal. Please see a vet promptly if the sneezing is persistent and accompanied by other symptoms like gunky/crusty eyes and/or noses, regular coughing, heavy breathing, loss of appetite and apathy.

Guinea pigs don't have viral colds. They can come down with a bacterial respiratory infection (URI) and also develop pneumonia, especially when their immune system is lowered through stress or illness. URI can kill if left untreated. Sadly some strains can hit out of the blue and a guinea pig can go downhill very quickly. The sooner you see a vet the better. If you have a new guinea pig that is sneezing quite a bit, I would have it checked by a vet to be on the safe side.

My guinea kept doing this and he sneezes now and again still, I took him to the vets to be checked but they said he was healthy and fine but best to be on the safe side I was really worried till I took him to the vets
