does my piggy need a blanket?

so I got my piggy five days ago at a pet store. She’s still small. Her cage came with a built in plastic hideout which then she can go on top for a second story. But I have fleece as the bedding in her whole cage. But her hideout just has the same layer of fleece on the bottom. Does she need some sort to blanket. It gets a little cold in my house. Should I put a small cut out of a blanket or something in there?

Your guinea pig needs some hides to hide into, lots of soft hay to snuggle into, if it is cold, then you can buy microwaveable heatpads so she has somewhere warm to sit, but most importantly your piggy needs a friend particularly if she a baby. Babies social needs are so great. Guinea pigs, regardless of their age, should never be kept alone as they are highly social herd animals and get lonely if they are by themselves.
