Oh right then i dont think it does then as they could get breathless as it may be liek a sauna room inside for them just think in a small hutch with no ventilation ahhhhh :-\

Thats what I was thinking-but arent all hutch snugs like that?
Does anyone know of a cheap one that has good ventiltation?

Last year i used a double hutch snuggler like the one in the picture for my rabbits, they were fine

Looking at that it looks like it just clips on to the hooks and covers the front of the hutch :-\ if so would the ir not get in from the sides

Oh no sorry I was asking Donnamarie about the one she just mentioned
Sokel-do you mean it doesnt cover the whole hutch?

Hi sorry dont know of any as i dont cover my 4 tier hutch up the one outside as theres nothing big enough for it :-\

I wonder if I could make a custom one?
Also you could too-maybe you could extend a three-tier cover?

My pigs are fine outside but its there 1st time outside properly since last year as they were in a different shed ?

My pigs were fine last year too but my parents want them to have one as they think they must get too cold

In most parts of the country it DOES get too cold for them to be outside (I mean outside outside, not in a shed). I think it's a pity because it's not like they can come into the house for cuddles. Not much fun for the humans to have to go out into the cold, either.

I don't think hutch covers like those allow air to circulate well enough and I don't imagine it will keep damp at bay.

I agree, and we're moving them into our garage ASAP.
Before you all shout at me, it has good ventilation, and they live quite near the door so it doesnt get damp. Plus |I go out there at least 4 times a day to see tem so they dont get lonely.
And I dont mind about going outside, because I have to traipse onto the grass every morning to pick our bunny some anyway
I'll probably not get a hutch snug-I'll assure my parents that theyll be fine in the garage.

My rabbit has a hutch hugger on his hutch and i clip it loosely on, however it does steam up very easily so i only put it down in winter, he has some netting covering the hutch all other times this prevents flies getting in etc.. it may be worth considering making one yourself, i think i might do this in winter as even with it down last year the water bottles still froze uo :-\

There are actually bottle snugs for sale in most petshops, and they do actually work so if you've got frozen water just put one on-they're qquite cheap
