I've been feeling a bit sad about Secret Santa... I know we don't do it for our own benefit but I made my little piggie a special card etc and I don't think the parcel has even been opened.

It's selfish of me really... I know 8...

Have you contacted the rescue in question about whether your parcel has arrived?
 
I too have this problem.
The potteries accidentally deleted the secret Santa photos, but we were promised some more, however I haven't seen any, I think they forgot :^-
 
I know that there is one outstanding present at Crawley GPR for Buggs. Unfortunately, Jenny has been poorly since Christmas hence the delay. I also haven't been able to go and do my usual volunteering at the rescue this month so haven't been there to help out at all. :(

I don't know it this is the present that is being waited for but as soon as Jenny is feeling better I will ask her about it. It definitely hasn't been forgotten. All of the Secret Santa presents have been very much appreciated. It's important to us that time is put aside to open the gifts properly and take photos with the piggies. :)

I think people just like to see their presents being opened (I know I would have) and there's nothing wrong with that :)

Perhaps you could contact Vic, and ask her to get in touch with the Rescue to see if the parcel arrived.

The previous Christmas I did two SS, and one of them never acknowledged receipt, and in the end Vic found out for me that the parcel had at least arrived, so if nothing else you'd know it hadn't gone missing.

I know it's disappointing not to see the pictures, but you would know that the piggies had had their treats.

Thats true, but we were promised pictures from the potteries of piggies enjoying SS presents even if they weren't their exact ones, but I have heard nor seen anything about this?

Dear All
I am Helen the Rescue Manager and am very sorry to anyone who was kind enough to send a gift to Guinea Pigs within our rescue and feel your gifts were not acknowleged.It was dealt with by Claire and Claire mentioned parcels did arrive and i know they were shared around rescue Guinea Pigs based at Claires.Claire did give me a gift for Samson and Milo but to be honest i never even thought of taking photos,they just enjoyed their gifts and i was busy over xmas and new year as was Claire with various rescued piggies.Claire has a busy busy home with 4 children one of which is Keeley who is disabled and her camera and lap top are prone to breakage:))
I did not realise it was a ongoing thread on the forum and people were expecting to see photos etc,so please just accept my apology as rescue manager and anyone who donates or sends any gift in future i can guarantee will have an acknowledgment.I take public support very seriously and i hope our supporters will vouch for our genuine nature.
