Does your guinea pig sniff their wee?

Sometime after they wee the boys sniff their wee? Is this normal? It doesn't smell of anything! What are they doing?

Mine sniff their own wee, too. They never sniff their poo . . . . . . .
 
Yep mine sniff theirs and each others, i've always presumed they can smell somthing that we can't. I guess getting to know your buddies wee smell is a good way to get to know them? :s
 
Errr....Does anyone's piggie lick their peee...?/:... Gilbert does this..apparently it tastes good...?drool I hope this is normall.....
 
They might be seeing if their wee smells healthy. :) Apparently that's why dogs smell their wee/poo, like to check they're healthy. :(|)
 
yes they do,and i catch them eating their poo sometimes too!apparently its good for them.....yuk!haha
 
yup ours sniff/lick wee and the other day when steven was cleaning them out he'd swept all the poo into a big pile which sandy plonked herself in and starting eating it :)>>>

Eww nasty! My friends dog liked to eat their Guineas and Bunnies poop. When they've been out on the lawn she will go out and hoover it all up! I've seen mine eat their poop lots, usually if their head goes between their legs when they go its gonna be a snack.
 
Oh yeah when Sully would do a wee Duke would race over and madly sniff it.......... rolleyes
The girls however don't seem to be bothered about all that.....mmmmmmm must be a boar thing only eh :(|)

As for our dog, she's digusting she eats it, smells it, stands in it, and yeah tries to kiss me afterwards too, i call her poo breath :)>>> but i love her dearly so i wipe her mouth then she can kiss me :(|)
