Does your piggies like music?

I have just found out that our piggies love the soothing music of George Benson - they go into a very relaxed state.

How about yours? :)p
 
some do some dont

mine also like watching t.v

and some like to dtudy the wallpaper
 
I'll put certain music on and Flash will chutter/do a little 'helicopter' noise! You turn it off and he is then fine! Others he sort of goes really relaxed and sleepy rolleyes

thats what happend to our girls, they just lay back and enjoyed the music :)p
 
Mine are little rock gods!:(|) They love my mum and my brothers rock music! They get all over excited and run around the cage.:...
They watch the tv with me as well. I have discovered they like something called tales of the riverbank which has loads of guinea pigs in it. Has anyone else heard of it? Its really cute! Really worthwhile watching on youtube.;)
 
Most of us wont want to own up to watching the original Tales of the Riverbank, it used to be on after dinner in the 19*0's. x

i do remember that programme! but i think it was repeated for me to watch as i was born in 1982!

my piggies go crazy for the hollyoaks music and my ruby loves jeremy kyle, she just stars at the screen when its on! rolleyesrolleyesrolleyes
 
Mine all love it when the hubby plays his acoustic guitar for them...they just sit still, stare into nothingness and listen contently @)

On bonfire night i thought it would be nice to put classical music on for the piggies in the piggy extension even though they were not bothered one bit by the fireworks, well as soon as i turned on the music they all ran into their bedroom and looked really scared as soon as i switched it off they were fine.

Joe and Jim indoor piggies come into the lounge to sit on our laps and Joe watches tv he loves anything with music or flashing lights.

I took this video of him last year watching britains got talent some of you may have seen it before

Haha thats well funny.

My piggies normally just ignore the tv, too busy exploring the living room :)
 
Bertie likes watching TV sat on his daddy's lap, I think he likes football.

Finlay is a fuss pot and he DOESN'T like Girls Aloud! We watched their concert on telly last week and there were songs where he was doing his dominance thing with the low growl and the shaky bum!

mine all love music. merlin especially likes prodigy :)) it makes him popcorn like mad!

bob likes to sit and watch top gear

Mine don't really care that much! . . . . Apart from once I had Speedy (my oldest male) on my lap and he was bobbing his head up and down to the simpsons theme tune! :))
 
Mine don't bother with the television or music - probably because they're in the livingroom so have to listen to it all the time. But open the fridge door........then they go mad!

yeah, mine too! FInlay goes berzerk every time he hears the fridge door even if he's already eating!
 
My dont mind the tv at all but i put some John Lee Hooker on the other day and they went still as statues, quite scared and hated it... It wasnt loud either...rolleyes:))
SO i turned it off and sulked...:)):))
 
My ladies and me like to watch the telly, we are particularly partial to sex and the city

When its on they sit at the front of the cage and just sit and watch it - its very funny to watch
 
Uhm..i don't really know as we don't put much music on in our house. But when like Songs of Praise or something is on in the kitchen. Cookie looks not so bothered about it and just gets on with what she is going in her cage
Maisey i think she gets abit scared.
Cookie loves to sit in the lounge with me and watch TV.

They can probably smell the buds chillin in the fridge lol
 
My guinea pigs sing along whenever I play Jason Mraz, it's so cute! They also love hearing the fridge open, too...
 
Lol - just discovered that my piggies love dance music. Commander - Attention, came on MTV this morning so I turned it up really loud and they started wheeking really loudly. They were probably trying to tell me to shut up - never mind! :))
 
mine arent too bothered, occassionaly i will see Ozzy fixated on the TV but he isnt watching anything in particular usually the adverts lol i dont listen to music in the house really so dont know if they like it or not!
