Anyone know where I could get or rescue a skinny piggie or a teddy piggy in the north west or north Wales!?
I didn't know how much the skinny piggies was until I asked a woman £120 for a sow and £100 for a boar!

You really have to be experienced and know what you are doing with skinnies. It's nothing like having a hairy pig. It is rare that they come into rescue and due to their needs rescues rarely home them out to the public. Not many have been seen in rescue in the UK.

As said before, skinny pigs are rare to find in rescues. My Willow was a rescue skinny, but the rescue I adopted her from was being overrun with skinny's! There's a nearby skinny breeder so I assume that's where all the rescued skinny's came from.

They do require more care than hairy pigs too. They can't be kept outdoors, they eat more and poo more, they tend to get ill more easily. Hairy pigs are much easier to care for.

Thanks for all the responses!
It's not for me, it's one of my friends who wants one!
