This was new last wednesday, its been emptied of poops, lined with newspaper and refilled with hay twice since then, hence the floor mess... but I think it has reached the end!
Tomorrow it will be replaced by a wine box bed, Tallulah eats 2 hay cubes and 2 wine boxes per month, otherwise she bites the cage at 3am (piggy mummy has to drink 12 bottles of wine per month to deal with my precious hyperactive little chocolate hippo!)

My guinea pigs have a wooden hidey house that's too small for them, but they take their hay and climb up on top, and eat it from there.

I think there was a discussion on this last xmas on the forum, I think the consensus was that coconut is not good for piggies... maybe you could get your ratties one instead? Not that I know if rats should have coconut, but they seem to eat more fatty foods than piggies!

on Amazon they had the medium carrot cottages down to £4 something each.... I ordered them one each for xmas! The coconut one looks nice but I don't like coconut so would never buy one lol even tho i won't be nibbling it!
