hi i am thinking of putting my GP's in a converted dog crate what i am struggling with is creating a ramp to go up to the second level as i dont want them to fall of it.
The cage will be be 4ft by 4ft with 2 levels this is for the 3 gp which will give them lots of space to run around and play in i hope and it also give me the option to possible add to the family if i wanted.
I will be putting small holed chicken wire all around so they cant stick their little heads through i have sorted the second level platform but just having problem with the ramp so if anyone has ideas that would be great

Hi

Mine used to live in dog crates when I first had them, but I found they kicked all of the bedding out of the sides as the bases were quite flat, so you might want something solid around the bottom to stop the mess!

As for ramps, I've got some hutches with ramps and they only tend to fall down them once and get the hang of it after that! Either a wooden ramp with struts across for grip, or with carpet attached to it for grip. Some people use tunnels as ramps, as they are enclosed and can't fall out.

Look forward to pics
