Dominance or something else?

I‘ve had 2 female piggies for a few weeks now, and sometimes when one comes in contact with the other, like if they’re in the same hide, she will start making a loud high-pitched frantic shriek. It’s very scary for me, and I’ve checked her body multiple times for any signs of injury, but cant find any. Is this just dominance or something I should be worried about?

It is most likely submission squeaking. The submissive telling the dominant that she is no threat to the hierarchy.
It sounds alarming but is very normal.

Yes, she will probably settle down in time, once they figure out their boundaries and how their relationship will work.
