Dominant piggy

Hi guys,

So I posted yesterday about my three piggy’s Minnie (neutered), and two males Cory and Trevor, Trevor has been attacking Cory and bothering Minnie.

So we are definitely going to build an upper level to the original cage and house Cory and Minnie together. I have been in touch with a rescue and they have a four week old baby-boy, I am thinking of housing Trevor (the dominant piggy) with the baby.

But I am slightly worried that he will bully the baby. What do you guys think?
 
The baby should slot to bottom of the hierarchy, does the rescue do boar dating?
 
If your dominant male is old than the baby he will no bully him because he is no threat
 
The Dominant male is about 11 months old, he used to live with his brother quite well until i got Minnie a neutered female, big mistake, now Trevor fights and bullys his brother and tries to mount Minnie, so I am going to seperate the two boys, put Cory with Minnie, as they get on very well but that leaves Trevor the bully alone, so the rescue have said the baby might be a good match as he is quite small, but i still worry that Trevor will attack him, I don't think they do the dating thing, but will take the baby back if it does not work out.
 
That sounds good, I will go ahead with the baby, once I have the other cage made up. Thanks for all the advice.

Yeah I neutered boar works well with females but am scent of a female and boars go mad
 
Please don’t call Trevor a bully. It was the circumstances that made him behave as he did.

Good luck with the bonding. Have a read through the bonding info on here, very useful. Sorry I can’t link it right now.
 
It’s ok, you weren’t to know. But you’re equipped with more info now so it’ll all work out ☺️
