A few days ago I introduced a new pig to my group, at first it seemed yo be going quite smoothly but now three of the sows (the new one and two old ones) have been living their heads at eachother and squealing.

There has also been some lunging, yawning and chasing but it always seems to end with all three squealing, what does this mean and is it bad?

They are still working on cementing the established hierarchy. Loud squealing is submission. The post-bonding dominance phase takes on average about 2 weeks. it usually gets livelier when one of the sows involves comes into season.
