Dom's Pedicure.

For a while I've worried about my Dom's single thick nail on his left back foot, trimming gave him allot of discomfort which was very upsetting for me, so I decided to raid my wifes make up draws and grab her nail files and with the distraction of a tasty crisp bunch coriander I gently filed away , the filing went so well and his nails have never looked so good, Dom was so relaxed I decided to do all his back nails, I intend to gently file them each week. Unfortunately I don't have a video of me filing them today as I couldn't ask my wife to film as she would find out I took her nail files :D

This made me smile, such a sweet piggy. I bought nail files especially for my boys but they won't let me touch them with it so have to cutting insted!

Buying and using a nail file was a last resort for Dom's thick nail, he's always been a very good boy when ever I have needed to handle him and I did not want to lose his trust or put him in even the slightest discomfort. I was so pleasantly surprised to find he actually found the nail filing relaxing, hence why I filed all his nails on his back feet. I did look up online how to file nails before I started and tested the files on myself to ensure they was just right :)

Maybe giving them some veggies might help to relax them, from there you could try moving them onto their backs, and follow it up with plenty of belly rubs.

Thank you Abbie, I originally went to adopt a all black Piggie which I looked at online, it was actually Dom's brother, but I was handed Dom by mistake, from there my mind was instantly made up. The rescue said Dom was grumpy and they found it difficult to pair him up, hence why he's on his own. It honestly to me seems they are talking about a completely different piggie cause Dom is absolutely incredible in all ways.
 
Aww! Dom looks so relaxed. And look at that cute piggy belly! :love:

He's like, "Ok. I'm all set for you to do my pedicure. Now, hooman, let's get on with it!"

Was your wife happy about you raiding her make up draws?
My Mum won't let me go in her room after I 'accidentally' used her nail file for the piggies. Oops!
