Donald just wanted to say hello to all the forum peeps out there while he has his evening cuddles and noms on his yummy vitamin C tablets. I don't believe Donald had been properly introduced to the Forum as I've been hiding from it for a while!

Thank you Mr Sport Billy! They are very nommy and I can highly recommend them. I think they are even tastier than metacam!

We are getting on ok. He is much better on regular metacam and the vitamin C isn't doing any harm and he loves it. I am keen to try glucosamine to see if it helps enough that we can reduce his metacam dose a bit but as long as he's happy I'm not too fussed.

The funniest bit of the whole thing is the fact the vet nurse etc refer to the x-ray as a 'guinea pig-ogram'! It just sounds fab... It was good to be allowed to see it though, a little different from person xrays but arthritis looks the same no matter what being you look at.

He took a day or so to really get over having had an anaesthetic so will be avoiding that in the future, they said he only needed a whiff but he took ages to get really back to himself after :(

Oh well here's to the future!
