They are such wonderful, inquisitve creatures and I adore them with all my heart, their gorgeous faces and delicate noses, their amazing wheeking in the mornings, and the good night kisses!
I love them so much :D

yep me to i just love how your not aloud to open the fridge without giving them something.

;D ;D :smitten:

Oh yes I adore them, my parents think I'm a mental case they are not animal people! My mum said today are the pigs going outside, I was like yeah they are...hehe as if! Then she said don't get anymore and I say no way! Hehe getting 2 more on Wednesday! ;D

But tis ok don't live with my folks just don't want an ear bashing at 30 years old and an only child!

Getting back on topic, pigs can understand English. Gave them all their dinner earlier and they haven't finished yet, I said to Sunshine no Readigrass tonight Sunshine you are all full up from tea! Well, he went mad and started teeth chattering at me, which then started Twinkle off! :o I have a rule, if they don't finish their meals they don't get Readigrass as I don't want them getting too full, they can have it in the morning instead, they don't miss out just get it at a different time. But it's not good enough for Mr Sunshine the ruler of the Pigguns in our house! ;D

my mum thinks I'm mad to because me and my boyfriend say come to mummy or come to daddy,

my piggies are finally starting to trust me enough now to take food out of my hand. its great.

:) :) :)

That's great Squeeker, do you have boars and sows? I was wondering today if boars were more trusting when it came to taking foods.

Sunshine and Twinkle trust me 100% they take food off me, don't mind a stroke and don't run away. They are 9 months old.

Pudsey (5 months) and Eccles (4 months) are getting trusting too, will let me stroke them in their indoor hutch and Pudsey will take food, Eccles is getting there. I'm thrilled because Eccles was very skittish when I got him.

As for my girls Flora will take food and let me stroke her but Fleur won't, they are 8 months old and I am hoping it just temper tantrums during her teenage years. She has been a horror for 3 days to Flora! Fleur won't take food off me, is very independent. But she's fab, she looks so innocent. ;D

totally agree with all said! GP'S are just fasinating and they learn so quickily! when petal and rosie were alive they knew when we had been shopping, and all we had to say was yum yum and away the choir would start with their little noses presses against the wire. and when you say NO and they use those big eyes to melt you into butter.
i always feel sorry for people who make fun of us when we're upset over losing a piggy and they say why be upset it was only a guinea pig! i feel sorry for these people as they have never known the joys of being loved and loving a guinea pig. i love them! OH pretends he doesn't like them but he is a bigger sook than me with them! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

I just ADORE them! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: there's nothing like a cuddle from a piggie to keep the blues away! 98) :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

My love for pigs has deepended so much in the last year, I adore them and my life is so blessed by having their little faces in my life, they have helped me with my depression in amazing ways and given me a purpose. :smitten:

I love them. When I'm older I'm going to marry a boar. ? Don't listen to that last one. It's weird ever since Soph and Goo died I been getting more and more depressed. I'm not saying that Toby, Doesn't do that he listens to me, Or He thinks I'm crazy talking to a hamster. :-\

My 7 year old says that Sunshine fancies her...lol Cracks me up! :D

hi S&T i have got four boars and they are gorgeous things i love them to bits and wouldnt be without them but wouldnt it be great if they didnt get ill. such an exspence wen they do. hehe but i wouldnt be without them.

I have 6 sows and I am absolutely besotted with them! I think I'm a bit crazy at 36! They all have their own little personalities, they crack me up. In the mornings they are all waiting for their food and my Daisy is meeting me when I open the hutch door, she's virtually hanging out, we then rub noses! They are so fab! I'd love to have more but I don't have any more room in my shed. They all take food out of my hand and let me stroke them and pick them up no problem. I love my guineas soooooooooooo much! :smitten: :smitten: :smitten:

Within 3 weeks Spice and Blaze:
know the footsteps of their mummy.
Know the fridge door sounds.
Know when I am in the Kitchen.

And don't they make sure I pay attention to them.

They also eat out my hand, and they love their hugs.... they won't sit anywhere other than around my neck.

i know were mad wen my bradders got poorly this week my freind said to me y dont you just get rid of them would be alot easier.

it really hurt me cuz i couldnt bare to be without them, and i thought you hartless person, cuz I'm not the type of person to walk out on anything let alone my boys

Yep, some people just don't get it do they!

My mum thinks I'm mad (I'm 30) and she has no idea how many I actually have now - because I vary the number each time I talk to her! She doesn't understand why I've got so many, but to me they are just all so different and there's a space for each and every one of them in my heart.

They make me smile, every day

My pigs make me smile and laugh so much - they are such comical little terrors - all with their own personalities! And me and OH are their mumy and daddy! (my parents think I am mad too).
There is nothing so good for getting over a stressful day at work than a piggy cuddle!

that is so true wen i finished work i just cant wait to get home to have a cuddle with my piggies.
