After losing Ginger Pig Dora was very sad and stopped 'talking' to us. So we went to a rescue to find her a new friend. I had already seen a gorgeous neutered skinny pig boar there on a previous visit and hoped that Dora would like him too. However, it turns out that Dora is a one boar piggy. She took one look at at him and chased him around the bonding pen trying to bite him.
Thankfully we had more luck with a lovely 2 year old sow, she had arrived at the rescue pregnant and had four pups (sadly two did not survive). Now that her pups are grown up she was ready to find a forever home of her own. Dora is still a little standoffish with her but they are getting along together ok and now like to share the corner tunnel (one at each end). Dora also got her voice back and has started wheeking at us again.
Introducing the lovely Belle.
