Firstly you must approach the silver spout with caution, us piggies do not want wet stuff dripping onto our noses!

Once carefully positioned under the silver spout you need to ever so slowly begin to open the side of your mouth, imagine a half smile like this!

Next drop your bottom lip to get the perfect slurping position...

and then...say AAAAAAHHHHHHHH!

and enjoy the cold refreshing stuff, wheeeeek!

For the safety of all piggy noses will all slaves please inform their piggies of the correct slurping technique,

Mr. SB, you really must have a word about Mrs. SB teaching Treacle bad habits...tut tut ;)
Our girls are also quite violent with the bottles tbh and tug at them too...must be a girl thing :x

Although, a couple of the boys are messy drinkers, I don't think they listened. rolleyes

Thank you Dottie for those lovely pictures and instructions. However, Bertie has the technique down to a "T" he doesnt like getting damp at all!

I am now arranging a PowerPoint presentation for captain jack, like subliminal advertising next to his cage, since he appears to have forgotten how to drink...full stop.pow-pow

Ever since his op and safe return he's been on strike, and or has forgotten the correct technique or forgotten what the silver spouting thing is for! ?/

Dottie, you must come up to Scotland to teach my lot how to drink. They slurp, they rattle, they sook, they chew and its still ends up dribbling all down their chinnies and keeps the slave awake at night mallethead. But then you are such a bootiful lady pig and have to keep yourself looking boootiful around the most handsomest of boars like Sir Finlay Pig

:)) Come on Captain Jack, you have no excuse now! Of course I had to tell my hooman what to write, she had no idea on the correct technique ;) she thinks you just push it with your tongue but there's a lot more to it than that!

Sir Finley Pig actually needs to practice his technique, he usually has it dribbling down his chin too :))

She must come and teach my piggies, I have one who spins her head over completely and uses her bottom teeth on the top to poke the ballbearing! Little weirdo :))

The main slurping culpret is my hamaphrodite piggie Bo. (shhhh..."she" gets embarassed about it....she's mainly a she lol)...perhaps its boys that lack drink-ability lol

It certainly does, she came from Rugby and was spayed by Simon. He didnt know until her operated that she was mainly a she. She had a wee womb. But her knobbly bit is very much like a willy :x. My own cavvy vet also said she's one but more of a she than a he.
When Theo was alive 8........he thought she was a she and accepted her but he was always more interested in his other wife lol.
She a lovely little weirdo though!Actually the prettiest pig Ive ever seen (ilac satin peru) see you just cant have it all!
 
Thankyou Dottie for that most informative video. I am hoping it will show Dindy that there is a more genteel way of drinking rather than the 'shove the whole spout in yer gob and try and pull the bottle down' method that Dindy presently practices.
