Day 1 of my boys being back together.
Total harmony yesterday but today there's alot of stuff going on, just want to double check that I have it right!

Rumble strutting
Bum sniffing
Chasing
Attempting to mount rolleyes
a low, whining squeak
teeth chattering
facing off with head raises

All safe stuff, right? Normal, dominance sorting...I'm not going to kill you...Stuff?
When they were kind of squaring up to each other a minute ago...I was like "Eep! Don't fight~" but I stayed back...I watched quietly...And then they chattered at each other like mad...I was waiting for the raised hackles but...Nothing...One of them popcorned off, actually.

But...So good, so far...Right? :{
This is so much more nerve wrecking than the first time!

Last night was a breeze and other night they were fine...Being the over-protective mummy that I am...I popped in to check on them several times in the night :) and they were lovely...
But they seem to be really sorting through the dominance stuff today. I'm so nervous!

Yeah keep and eye if the chattering gets really bad find a distraction technique to snap them out of it. My boys do that and even have little nips/cuts but you have to try to be strong and not seperate at the first little nip. obviously if it is fur flying and no one backing down then towel time. but even our boys have little scuffles then they move away from each other for a bit after and it all calms down. get some F10 cream (antibiotic/antiseptic) at the ready for little cuts and nips. From what I have seen when this happens is the last 'stage' when one will back down. if it continues in a ball of fur with no break then there is no chance. really hard to explain we have little scuffles then all peace is restored (even with the odd little nip/scratch). but when smokey and bandit first fell out it was constant balls of fur with no one backing down that's when it definately won't work at all! Hope this makes sense! inbreeding
