Ooo deary I've had one of those moments :red
Its quite embarrassing actually! (I take pride in my piggie care and knowledge)
Well, every day I give the boys a health check and check for any lumps or bumps. And I have seen Artie's nipples many a time, however i've never took much notice until today...
My brother took a photograph of me holding Artie, you can see his gorgeous little belly. I uploaded the photograph, went 'awww' and then:
"OMG! HE HAS NIPPLES!"
In blind panic, I ran to the shed double checked his sex, while muttering "I've checked his boy bits every day, and I'm so sure he's a boy!"
I quickly typed into google, male guinea pigs anatomy....then this came up in bold words:
All male mammels have nipples, including male guinea pigs.
I knew that!
mallethead haha! Its been a long day, and I'm blaming my sudden dozyness to lack of sleep! haha! Whoops poor artie.
"I am a boy you know!"
