Am driving up to see Tracy at Rugby tomorrow to collect two wives for my Bumble ,who will be called Honey and Bea-drool
The weathers awful,I dont have a sat nat - there are pages and pages of directions on the AA route planner I have printed out and it will take 2 hrs to travel the 78 miles there (and thats on a good day and not in a vauxhall corsa )- am really dreading it :(- so with wee stops etc I'm probably talking a 5hr trip (if I dont get lost ) - so I will probably be too stressed out to come on the forum tomorrow night - so will probably speak to you guys on Friday - wish me luck!

Oh dear that does sound hard. It will be so worth it though when you see them. Good luck. :)

Deep breaths, you can do it and you will be fine! I hope the weather plays nice for you tomorrow. A few strategic wee stops to check directions etc will be worthwhile and when you sit watching Bumble with his new wifepigs you will know that all the stress was worth it :)

Work out where appropriate cafe/service stations are along the way and stop regularly. Or you can always pack some sandwiches and a thermos so you just need a parking space. Put all your favourite hits on the stereo and don't forget to think piggies x)

I once travelled about six hours to pick up a kitten in an ancient fiesta! I think I must have circled birminham a dozen times haha It was worth it though and my friend travelled with me so it was a laugh :) I'm sure you will be fine :) good luck with your new additions! can't wait to see some pictures! :) x

is there nobody who could go with you for driving moral support? either way, I'm sure youll be fine! cant wait to see pigtures!

So excited for you and cant wait for the pics. Tell Tracy that Dalton and Bernadette (Boursin) are a match made in heaven and are blissfully happy together.....Goooooddd luck with the drive......

Good luck!
Have a safe journey, take something yummy and think pigs! :)) x

Oooooh how exciting! Safe trip home and really looking forward to pigtures of the newbies! xx>>>

We are back !

:(|) Well - we are back from our Trip to see Tracy at Rugby - weather was bonkers - 2hrs to do 78 miles - then nearly 3 hrs to get back - got blown about the motorway and just missed an overturned lorry by about10 mins - the highways guys had just arrived and were shutting down all 3 lanes on the other side of the motorway incase the lorry rolled off the flyover onto the motorway - tailbacks were huge!
The girls started eating at about 6 tonight - so introductions only began then - there has been lots of popcorning, butt dragging , sniffing ,squeeling, mounting (without success)-whiffy testosterone smells -:)>>> and a couple of very shocked ladies ! - the rumbling and wheeking is still going on ,coupled with quiet periods when all are knackered or eating - methinks it is going to be a long night!
New camera has been ordered so when it arrives i will upload piccies:(|)

Thank goodness that awful journey is over and you are all home. It sounds like bonding is going well which is wonderful to hear. :)
