Hi! Please place Bailey in a bowl with very shallow baby-warm water to allow the poo to soak; so it can be removed that way without ripping of skin. You may have to repeat the process a few times if the poo is very badly dried onto the skin and you can't it off in one go.

All the best!

Please only use plain water that is warm but not hot to your elbow (i.e. baby-warm). The water should not reach the belly and just cover the feet in order to soak the foot. ;)

We don't recommend baths unless there is a medical reason for them or a piggy is exceptionally filthy. In most cases a partial bath with plain water in the affected area (feet or bum) is perfectly sufficient and doesn't upset the delicate skin. ;)

You can try soaking the foot in water to soften the dried poo and then it will come off much easier. No need to do a full bath, just a foot soak will do fine! Hope this helps!

Yes thank you I’m going to do this tomorrow thanks

I fostered a pig who always had poo stuck on her feet. I put her in a shallow amount of warm water to soak, but I put a towel on the bottom of the pan. She basically scrubbed it off on her own while she soaked.

That looks like a foot spur to me which is a common skin growth on piggy feet. It's dead skin but very much attached to live skin so don't pull at it
So what do I do? I don’t want my Bailey to be hurt anymore
